Podcast #1 – Zero to Finals
6/5
The Zero to Finals Medical Revision Podcast has been created by Dr Thomas Watchman, a GP in the NHS in the UK. It covers a broad range of medical topics in short, digestible bursts. Best of all, there are books, a website and flashcards to supplement your learning too!
Episode Duration: 2-10 minutes
There are so many topics in medicine that can be difficult to grasp. The content on Zero to Finals breaks complex topics down into digestible bursts and helps you understand (rather than memorise) the medical conditions.
Podcast #2 – Humerus Hacks
5/5
Join Karen and Sarah, two Australian junior doctors as they unpack medicine and all the madness that goes along with it on this insightful, informative and hilarious podcast!
Tune in for special guest podcasts from specialty registrars and senior clinicians.
Episode Duration: 30 – 60 mins
Podcast #3 – TeaBrief
5/5
The TeaBrief podcast is run by 3 Australian medical students and supported by Medic Guild.
They discuss everything from dating in medical school to surviving lockdown.
This podcast is a great way to debrief and share experiences that are universal to medical students all around the world.
Episode Duration: 20 – 30 mins
Podcast #4 – The Curbsiders IM Podcast
4.5/5
The Curbsiders Internal Medicine Podcast was created by 3 internal medicine consultants from the United States. They approach clinical conundrums in a fun and engaging way. I would say this podcast is great for senior medical students who are about to enter the doctor-life.
Episode Duration: 30 – 70 mins
Podcast #5 – You’re Kidding, Right?
5/5
You’re Kidding, Right is an amazing podcast for all things paediatrics! It is run by two junior doctors and covers a wide range of common (and not so common) paediatric conditions.
